We here are Primavera are proud of everything we do, so when it came time to print our first round of business cards we started researching. (we wanted to be proud of those too)

Naturally we went to Geoff for the design. He designed our bag labels and logo. As he says, “I created their business card to be a direct reference to their applauded labels.”

We looked around for a printer and printing medium to use. I was originally drawn to some smaller companies using letterpress. Although I love the craft, our designs was limited by the process and we searched on.

During the letterpress search, we decided that we wanted to use a sustainable and creative minded company. That narrowed the search to companies using soy based inks and recycled papers.

I came across another small company in Portland that prints using offset printers… Pinball Publishing. They are not only skilled printers, they have super customer service, are creative minded, and have a great commitment to the environment.

A lot of thought and work went into our cards. I feel they represent us not only in design, but philosophy as well.

So the next time you pick one up (or pass one on to a friend) you can enjoy the 3 color, 2 sided, half toned design while knowing they were printed using soy based inks on recycled paper (some of it being post comsumer)!
