Rollis,

All the work that goes into sourcing and roasting really great coffee is totally worth the effort with praise like that.

We look forward to amazing you with quality prepared drinks in store too. Perfectly steamed organic milk poured over paintstakingly prepared espresso is enough to lure you back from Forest Park.

Brett,
Thanks for the delicious shot yesterday - truely amazing! What a real treat to have your store in b'ham and your location in Cahaba Heights is perfect. We live in Forest Park and the trip is certainly worth the effort!!
I am absolutely taken back at the quality of this coffee. I am drinking a strong latte from a fully automatic expresso machine and it is buttery, mellow and luscious! Nothing Like it! My family enjoyed the peppermint tea apres dejeuner and it as well was a treat.
My 6 year old daughter loves the bags too!! We can't wait to sip coffee / tea in your store...
thank you!

Visited your roastery (roasterie?), OK really nice store! yesterday and really enjoyed it. Thanks Brett and Havilah for extending fine coffee roasting into the South via Guatemala. I enjoyed the Yirgacheffe this morning, and found the profile you used is just right.

Good roasting,
Woody

We are open from 10-6 right now because we are strictly retail. We just finished a year of construction, and are starting out slow to focus on obtaining wholesale accounts via markets, grocery stores, etc.... Our eventual goal is be in a place where we are serving beverages, and as a result, we are putting things into motion to obtain permits and everything else to do that.
We are fundamentally open to roast coffee and sell amazing beans. The beverage facet is what we desire as an added bonus and fun outlet to serve our coffee, and provide excellent espresso based beverages. We are thinking a month or two will be the time needed to serve drinks. When that comes about, our hours will be different to meet that change.

My husband and I are so excited that you guys have opened! We are curious though as to why you chose the hours 10-6? We will make a point to come, but we are disappointed that we will not be able to sip your brew when we normally have coffee - early morning or post dinner. Any chance of those hours in the future?
