Here are a couple of pictures of the inside. The shop is super tiny…usually once a day it is packed out and nobody else can fit in, literally. Michael designed the shop for a one man operation so behind the counter is cramped too. There are two tables that four people can sit at, and a bar area that 8 people can sit at. The roaster in the picture will roast a little over 5 pounds of green beans ( you lose about 10 to 12% to water vapor while roasting). Michael got a big order from a pilot that flies into the backwoods of Guatemala. I roasted from 6:30am till 1:00pm on Saturday to fill the order. The shop was really busy, so I roasted the whole time by myself. Roasting is super fun… remember we will be coming home in December so get your Christmas orders in now. The web site has the coffee orgins Crossroads sells as well as information about the Roberts family and shop. enjoy.
