WE have already learned so much since we have been here. Brett had the exciting opportunity to roast about 35 pounds of coffee last week. Yesterday and today, he helped Michael take apart and put the espresso machine back together. It was not an easy task to say the least. Atleast now he says he can fix just about anything on a lever machine. I had the fun role of taking over the shop this morning. We are getting so much experience and we have only been here a week. WE are excited to see what the next months will hold for us. The harvest starts in early december…so that is something to look forward to.
The door to the shop is in the far left of the picture, two people are walking into it. The second level and the roof is part of their house. The door at the front of the picture is a small auto parts store.

B and H. You guys are awesome. I am amazed that you guys just picked up and moved away. Be safe and keep posting, we really enjoy reading all about your adventures. Hey Brett, remember that time when we had to stay in a hotel in west palm beach, and there was funny stuff on the beds so we slept in our sleeping bags? I think you have bad luck with strange things in your beds.
Love, Walt & Katie
I’m with professa g, all the questions he asked and also Havilah are you doing similar stuff to O’Henry’s? Do they have lots of tables for customers? Do they sell other “stuff” cups, etc?
Keep the pictures coming, its great for us here at home to see. We are praying for transportation up the 21/2 mile trek home. We love and miss you!
